Lithium Ionic holds a dominant land position in Brazil's Lithium Valley with a total of 17,000 hectares, spread across two strategic areas: the Itinga and Salinas groups of properties. Since drilling began in April 2022, the Company has defined global mineral resources of 60.1Mt grading 1.28% Li2O across three deposits, with further resource growth expected as exploration and development progress.
With a highly experienced team and operations in one of the most mining-friendly jurisdictions globally, Lithium Ionic is committed to supporting the growing demand for lithium in the global battery metals and electric vehicle supply chains.
ITINGA GROUP OF PROPERTIES
The Itinga group of properties is situated in the heart of Brazil’s lithium-rich Lithium Valley, directly adjacent to active lithium producers, CBL and Sigma Lithium. This region has solidified its position as one of the leading hard-rock lithium-producing districts globally, with excellent infrastructure and a supportive government that supports the rapid development of lithium projects.
Bandeira Project
- Bandeira is Lithium Ionic’s flagship low capex, low opex project, rapidly advancing toward production and positioned to become Brazil's next major lithium producer.
- Key permitting approvals for Bandeira are approaching with the LAC (Licença Ambiental Concomitante) license in the final stages of review and approval. The LAC grants permission to begin construction and mine pre-development.
- Strategically located between two established lithium producers, CBL and Sigma Lithium, Bandeira’s potential is validated with strong proof-of-concept.
- A Feasibility Study, completed in May 2024, outlined a 14-year mine life with production of 178,000 tonnes of high-quality 5.5% Li2O spodumene concentrate annually.
- The 157-hectare Bandeira property represents only 1% of our total land holdings yet ~70% of our total lithium resource, highlighting the Company’s excellent long-term growth and resource expansion potential.

SALINAS GROUP OF PROPERTIES
Acquired in March 2023, the Salinas group of properties offers significant exploration upside and resource expansion potential. Located in the northern section of Brazil’s Eastern Pegmatite Province, adjacent to Latin Resources’ Colina Project (acquired by Pilbara Minerals in August 2024), this region is highly prospective for spodumene-bearing pegmatites, presenting strong growth potential for the Company.
Baixa Grande Deposit
- The initial mineral resource for Baixa Grande, published in April 2024, highlights its potential to become a key growth asset within the Company’s portfolio and play a crucial role in its long-term strategy.
- A 30,000-meter drill program is underway in 2024, aimed at nearly doubling the drilling efforts on this deposit to fully unlock its potential.
