PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Outro Lado deposit is located within Lithium Ionic's Itinga group of properties, approximately 5 kilometers northwest of the flagship Bandeira Project. Despite its smaller size, Outro Lado is notable for its higher lithium grades, offering significant upside potential for the Company’s broader development strategy in Brazil’s "Lithium Valley." The property is a key future growth asset within Lithium Ionic’s portfolio, with its high-grade spodumene pegmatites offering potential to complement future production from Bandeira.
Since the initial drill campaign, the Company has continued exploration efforts to further define the resource potential at Outro Lado, with opportunities for both resource expansion and future production integration.
Mineral Resource Estimate
In June 2023, Lithium Ionic announced an initial NI 43-101 Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for Outro Lado, based on data from 61 diamond drill holes totaling 7,659 meters of drilling. This estimate highlighted the high-grade nature of the deposit and its future potential.
Key Resource Highlights:
- Measured and Indicated: 2.97Mt grading 1.46% Li₂O (108kt LCE)
- Inferred: 0.42Mt grading 1.48% Li₂O (15kt LCE)
This maiden resource estimate underscores the high-quality lithium mineralization present at Outro Lado, reinforcing its strategic importance within Lithium Ionic’s portfolio as a future contributor to the company’s production pipeline.
